CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT June 17, 2014 City Manager TITLE: REAFFIRM CITY COUNCIL TWO YEAR ANNUAL WORK PLAN SUMMARY At your meeting of June 4, 2013 the City Council adopted its current two-year City Council Annual Work Plan and since that time, staff has provided progress updates regarding its overall progress. The purpose of this item is to present the most recent project updates, to allow for public comment on any Annual Work Plan goal, project description or project status, and to provide the City Council will an opportunity reaffirm and/or suggest modifications. The work plan is designed to inform the community of the Council's "shared vision" of high priority projects and to provide the City Manager with the policy direction needed to manage City resources. It is anticipated the Council may, from time to time, update the Annual Work Plan as needed to reflect new priorities or projects and to assure that it remains consistent with City Council goals, objectives and ongoing communication with the community. RECOMMENDATION Reaffirm and/or modify the Annual Work Plan attached to this report as Attachment 1. FINANCIAL STATEMENT There is no direct financial impact as a result of this report. However many of the projects included in the work plan have a financial impact which have been addressed through the City Budget, including the Capital Improvement Program.
