CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 923 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING §4-1.28, ARTICLE 1, CHAPTER 2 <br /> (SPECIAL PERMITS), TITLE IV (HEALTH, SAFETY, MORAL <br /> AND GENERAL WELFARE) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON RELATING TO SOLICITORS PERMITS <br /> <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br /> Section 1. Section 4-1.28 (Permit: Hours of Day) of Article 1 <br /> (Solicitors and Certain Businesses), Chapter 2 (Special <br /> Permits), Title IV (Health, Safety, Moral and General <br /> Welfare) is amended in its entirety as follows: <br /> <br /> Section 4-1.28 Permit: Hours of Day. <br /> Except as provided for herein, a permit issued <br /> pursuant to this article shall not be valid on <br /> Sunday or before 9:00 a.m. or after 8:00 p.m., <br /> Monday through Saturday. Permits issued to ice <br /> cream vendors using the public right-of-way shall <br /> be valid Monday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to <br /> 8:00 p.m. and Sunday 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. <br /> <br /> Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br /> after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br /> Section 3.
