RESOLUTION NO. 1589 ACCEPTING DELI~£R¥ OF A DEED FROM C. S. RICItARDS and HAZEL RICHARDS, HIS WIFE~ TO THE TOWN OF PL~ANTON and AUTHORIZING TI~ SAM~E TO BE HECORDED. HE IN RESOL~D BY THE T0';~N cOUNCIL OF TITE T0¥~N OF PLEASANTON AS FOLLOWS: 1. That delivery to the Town of Pleasanton of that certain Deed dated I~ay 4 , 1936, from C. S. RICHARDS and HAZEL RICHARDS, his wife, of the Town of Pleasanton, County of ~ameda, State of California, to the T0¥~ OF pLEASANTON, a municipal corporation, be and the same is hereby accepted by the Town of Pleasanton, which said Deed conveys to the Town of Pleasanton the following described real property, to-wit: All that certain piece or parcel of land situate, lying and being in the Township of Pleasanton, County of AlaEeda, State of California, mo~ particularly described as follows: BEGINNING at the point of intersection of the dividing line between that certain tract of land third- ly described in the Decree of Distribution of the Estate of Joseph Lewis, deceased, to Carrie A. Lewis, a widow, dated April 22, 1931 and recorded April 24, 1931 in Liber 2573 of 02ficial Records, at page 323, Records of Alameda County, California, and that certain tract of land hereinafter referred to, with the Northeastern line of County Road No. 2578, commonly knoWn as Division Street, in the Town of Pleasanton, Alameda County, California, said point of beginning being distant along th said ~ortheastern line of County Road No. 2578 North 41~ 45' West 573.90 feet from the point of intersect ion thereof with the Northern line of St. Mary Street in said Town of Pleasanton; thence continuing along the sa~d l~ortheastern line of County Road No. ~578.?orth 41 45' West 332.92 feet to an angle there~n; ~nence leaving the said l~ortheastern line of County Road No. 2578 North ll° 57' East 32.51 feet; thence North 78° 58' East 22.84 feet; thence South 17° 53' East 50.01 feet; thence South 41° 52' East 268.44 feet; thence South 58° 24' East 27.31 feet to the hereinabove re- ferred to dividin~ line; thence along the last named line South 48° 00' West 3~.00 feet to the point of beginning. BEING a portion of that certain tract of land described in the Deed from Elizabeth L. Lucas to C. S. Richards, dated August 7, 1935 and recorded September 28, 193§ in Liber 3240 of Official Records, at page 144, Records of Alameda County, California.
