TRUST~ES <br />OF TH~'~ TO'~$~ OF PLEASAYTON, ~C~'TY OF ALA~'.~A, <br /> STATE OF CALIFORNIA. <br /> <br /> ~EREAS, the corporation to be known as the ?,.I,A~!EDA COUNTY <br />FAIR AND RACING ASSOCIATION is being organized for the purpose of <br />conducting fairS, expositions, race meet and speed contests end other <br />activities for amusement and entertainment; and <br /> v~qqEREAS, it is the ourpose of said organization to hold and <br /> conduct said expositions, fairs and race meets at the Pleasanton Race <br /> T~ack in the County of Alameda; and <br /> W~E~EAS, said organization has filed or is about to file <br /> au application with the California Horse Racing Board for a permit <br /> to conduct a race meeting in conjunction with the County Fair on <br /> said property during the month of August, 1936: <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Board of Town Trustees <br /> of the Town of Pleasanton that we do hereby approve the granting of <br /> a permit to hold said fair and race meet at the Pleasanton Race Track <br /> d~riug the month of August, 1936, an~ do hereby~spectfully petition <br /> the California Horse Racing Board to grant permission for said race <br /> meet to be held iu connection with said Alameda County Fair and <br /> <br />Exposition. <br /> <br />B0~RD OF T(~N TRUSTEES. <br /> <br /> The undersigned, City Clerk of the Town of Pleasanton, <br />does hereby certify that the above and foregoing is a true and <br />correct copy of a resolution adopted by the Town Trustees of the <br />Town the a of <br /> <br /> Clerk of the Town of Pleasanton, <br /> County of Alameda, State of California. <br /> <br /> <br />
