NOTICE OF ELECTION <br />RESOLUTION NO. 1~80 <br /> <br /> Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of the State <br />law governing municipal elections, it becomes the duty of the <br />council of the Town of Pleasanton to give notice of such <br />election and to perform such other acts as are required by law; <br />now therefore <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved by the Council of the Town of Ple~santon, <br />that public notice is hereby given tha~ an election will be <br />held in the Town of Pleasantcn on Tuesday, the 14th day of <br />April, A.D. 1936 for the purpose of electing she following <br />officers: <br /> <br /> Three (5) councilmen to serve for the full ~erm cf <br /> <br />four years; <br /> <br /> One (1) clerk to serve for the full term of four <br /> <br />years; <br /> <br /> One (1) treasurer to serve for the full term of four <br /> <br />years. <br /> <br /> Be it further Resolved that said election be conducted <br />in accordance with law and that said election be held in one <br />orecinct to be known as consolidated Election Precinct "A", <br />said consolidated precinct to be composed of the three election <br />precincts in the Town of Pleasanton~ the boundaries of such <br />precincts to be the same as those prescribed by the Board of <br />Supervisors of Alameda county for State and County elections; and <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved, t~t the polling place of ~aid <br />Srecinct s~ll be at the Odd Fellows Hall, on the south side <br />of St. ~arys Street, between ~ain St., and Pleasanton Aven~e <br />in the Town of Ple~santcn, California; and that said polls <br />shall re~ain open for eight (8) consecutive hours, to-wit from <br />10:~0 o'clock a.n. until 6:~0 o'clock p.m., ~nd be it <br /> <br /> <br />
