The project design engineer shall submit a final sub <br /> drain location map to the City Engineer for City Use. <br /> 80. All retaining walls along the street shall be placed behind the Public Service Easement <br /> (PSE), unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. <br /> 81. The project shall construct vertical P.C.C. curbs and gutters within this development <br /> unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. When the sidewalk is adjacent to the <br /> curb and gutter, they shall be poured monolithically. <br /> 82. For new streets, the minimum grade for the gutter flow line shall be set at one percent <br /> where practical, but not less than /5% unless otherwise approved by the City Engineer. <br /> The existing streets shall have grade to match existing site conditions subject to review <br /> by the City Engineer. <br /> 83. The curb and gutter along the street shall have a sub drain installed at either the back of <br /> the curb or lip of gutter at the discretion of the City Engineer. This detail shall be shown <br /> on the improvement plans. Said drains shall be connected to the storm drain system or <br /> drained by other means acceptable to the City Engineer. <br /> 84. All existing septic tanks or holding tanks, if any shall be properly abandoned, pursuant <br /> to the requirements of the Alameda County Department of Health Services prior to the <br /> start of grading operations, unless specifically approved by the City Engineer. <br /> 85. The improvement plans for this development shall contain sig nage and striping plans <br /> that are subject to the approval of the City Traffic Engineer and City Engineer. <br /> 86. All service drops (PG&E Pac Bell and Cable TV) to proposed units within this <br /> development shall be installed underground in conduit to the nearest "utility approved" <br /> riser pole. <br /> 87. All dry utilities (electric power distribution, gas distribution, communication service, <br /> Cable television, street lights and any required alarm systems) required to serve <br /> development shall be installed in conduit, underground in a joint utility trench unless <br /> otherwise specifically approved by the City Engineer. <br /> 88. The encroachment permit for haul route for all materials and equipment to and from this <br /> development shall be approved by the City Engineer prior to the issuance of any permit <br /> by City Building Division or Engineering Division. <br /> 89. Any damage to existing street improvements during construction on the subject property <br /> shall be repaired to the satisfaction of the City Engineer at full expense to the project <br /> contractor.
