Ms. Compton confirmed that Hacienda <br /> Business Park is fully supportive of the project. <br /> Mayor Thome closed the public hearing. <br /> Councilmember Brown asked what would occur if Dublin, Livermore or the county were to vote against <br /> the PPJ. <br /> Mr. Fialho said staff would be forced to regroup and assured her they would not commit these funds <br /> without an equal agreement from all parties concerned. <br /> MOTION: It was rn/s by Narum/Brown, to approve submission of a $1.25 million Section 108 Loan <br /> Guarantee application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide <br /> financial assistance to the Axis Community Clinic expansion project and authorize the City to enter into <br /> a Public Participating Jurisdictions (PPJ) with the cities of Livermore and Dublin and the County of <br /> Alameda to repay the loan. He said they were afforded the opportunity to <br /> help Assemblywoman Bonilla to introduce a new bill governing massage parlors. Councilmember <br /> Cook-Kailio said it was a very interesting experience and that she felt relatively fortunate after hearing <br /> the types of issues that other jurisdictions are grappling with She noted that this is Teacher <br /> Appreciation Week and extended a heartfelt thanks to those who have taught her and her children. <br /> Councilmember Brown reported that Amador High School's We the People team finished second in <br /> the nation. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:26 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
