BACKGROUND <br /> The Mid-Term Capital Improvement Program (CIP) has been prepared with a focus of <br /> adhering to the current CIP budget unless changes are needed to address project bids <br /> that impact project budgets, changes in funding sources, modifications needed to <br /> address anticipated funding shortfalls, and/ or the addition of prioritized new projects. <br /> Information related to expenditures, revenues and transfers is included in Attachment 2. <br /> As noted in the Attachment, projects included in 2014-15 are funded while those in the <br /> final two years are for planning purposes only. <br /> DISCUSSION <br /> This Mid-Term CIP retains all existing funded and projected CIP projects and <br /> recommends adding the following three new projects: <br /> THREE NEW PROJECTS ADDED TO THE CIP <br /> New Project Description Cost <br /> Black Avenue Traffic Calming, Phase I Construct a bulb out at Black Ave., and $130,000 <br /> Tanglewood Court. Overall project <br /> approved by the City Council in <br /> December 2013. Future phases will be <br /> reviewed as part of the 2015-16 CIP. <br /> Pleasanton Tennis and Community Conduct design and prepare $50,000 <br /> Park —Two Additional Tennis Courts specifications for the addition of two <br /> (Design) new lighted tennis courts. Construction <br /> funding will be reviewed as part of the <br /> 2015-16 CIP. The Parks and <br /> Recreation Master Plan identifies <br /> additional lighted tennis courts as a <br /> high priority. <br /> Recycled Water Infrastructure (Design) Provide funding for the design of $1,032,000 <br /> infrastructure to transport recycled <br /> water from DSRSD to strategic City <br /> locations, including Hacienda Business <br /> Park. This project concept was <br /> approved by the City Council <br /> previously. A CW State Revolving Fund <br /> loan is being processed to meet project <br /> costs. <br /> In addition, the following two existing projects were amended: <br />
