RESOLUTION NO. 14-687 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> ADOPTING AN AMENDMENT TO THE GENERAL PLAN, AS FILED UNDER CASE <br /> P14-0011, REGARDING A CHANGE IN LAND USE DESIGNATION FOR 4133 <br /> REGALIA COURT FROM PARKS- AND RECREATION TO HIGH DENSITY <br /> RESIDENTIAL <br /> WHEREAS, MidPen Housing Corporation has applied for a General Plan Amendment to <br /> modify the General Plan Land Use designation for 4133 Regalia Court from Parks and <br /> Recreation to High Density Residential to accommodate a high-density residential senior <br /> apartment development consisting of 185 units and related parking, community facilities, <br /> landscaping, and other related site improvements on a 6.43-acre site at 240 and 251 Kottinger <br /> Drive, 4138 Vineyard Avenue, and 4133 Regalia Court ("the Project"); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Planning Commission at its regular meeting.on April 23, 2014 adopted <br /> Resolution PC-2014-17, determining that the proposed General Plan Amendment is appropriate <br /> for 4133 Regalia Court; making findings, and recommending to the Pleasanton City Council that <br /> P14-0011 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS, on May 20, 2014, the Pleasanton City Council held a duly noticed public <br /> hearing on this application and considered all public testimony, agenda reports, and related <br /> materials, and the recommendations of City staff and the Planning Commission. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER THE <br /> FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. The City Council adopts an amendment to the Land Use. Element of the <br /> Pleasanton General Plan 2005-2025, as set forth in Exhibit A, attached hereto and made part of <br /> this resolution by reference. <br /> SECTION 2.. The City Council determines that this is one of the four times in 2014 that <br /> the Land Use Element of the Pleasanton General Plan 2005-2025 may be amended as <br /> provided in Government Code Section 65358. <br /> SECTION 3 The City Council finds that this amendment to the Land Use Element of <br /> the Pleasanton General Plan 2005-2025 is part of the Project for which a Mitigated Negative <br /> Declaration has been adopted. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED.by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on May 20, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on 20th day of May, 2014 <br /> by the following vote: <br /> Ayes: Councilmembers Brown, Cook-Kallio, Narum, Pentin, Mayor Thorne <br /> Noes: None <br /> Absent: None <br /> Abstain: None <br />
