RESOLUTION NO. 14-684 <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DECLARING THE INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE. <br /> LIGHTING & LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO 1994-1 OAK TREE <br /> FARM FOR FISCAL YEAR 2014/15; DECLARING THE INTENTION TO. LEVY <br /> AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS; AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways <br /> Code, the City,Council of the City of Pleasanton has described proposed;improvements <br /> to be included for the determination of annual assessments levied for Lighting and <br /> Landscape Maintenance District No. 1994-1 Oak Tree Farm, created under the Lighting <br /> & Landscape Act of 1972,. and ordered the preparation of an Engineer's Report to <br /> determine the annual levy of assessments for such.District; and <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways <br /> Code, the Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a Preliminary Engineer's Report for the <br /> Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No 1994.1 Oak Tree Farm for Fiscal Year <br /> 2014/15. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Steve Kirkpatrick, City Engineer, is the person designated by this <br /> Council as the Engineer of Work for Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No <br /> 1994-1, Oak Tree Farm, during fiscal year 2014-15. The area of land to be assessed is <br /> located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within <br /> Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No 1994-1 Oak Tree Farm, during fiscal <br /> year 2014.15. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, <br /> Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are <br /> generally described as follows: <br /> The maintenance and repair of designated landscaped areas, open space slopes, fuel <br /> transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, irrigation <br /> systems, trees in the open space and designated landscaped areas, and the furnishing <br /> of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenant and incidental <br /> expenses within Tract 6563 and 6748, and parcels B and C of Parcel map 6359, City of <br /> Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 4. In accordance with this resolution directing the filing of an annual <br /> report, Steve Kirkpatrick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report <br /> required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
