RESOLUTION NO. 14483 <br /> A RESOLUTION.OF THE CITY COUNCIL. OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> DECLARING THE INTENTION TO ORDER IMPROVEMENTS FOR THE <br /> LIGHTING & LANDSCAPE MAINTENANCE DISTRICT NO. 1993-2 BONDE <br /> RANCH FOR FISCAL YEAR 2014/15; DECLARING THE INTENTION TO LEVY <br /> AND COLLECT ASSESSMENTS; AND SETTING THE DATE FOR THE <br /> PUBLIC HEARING <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways <br /> Code, the City Council of the City of Pleasanton has described proposed improvements <br /> to be included for the determination of annual assessments levied for Lighting and <br /> Landscape Maintenance District No 1993-2 Bonde Ranch, created under the Lighting& <br /> Landscape Act of 1972, and ordered the preparation. of an Engineer's. Report to <br /> determine the annual levy of assessments for such District; and <br /> WHEREAS, as required by Section 22622 of the California Streets and Highways <br /> Code, the Engineer has filed with the City Clerk a Preliminary Engineer's Report for the <br /> Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-2 Bonde Ranch for Fiscal Year <br /> 2014/15. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT. THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. Steve Kirkpatrick, City Engineer, is the person designated by this <br /> Council as the Engineer of Work for Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No <br /> 1993-2, Bonde Ranch, during fiscal year 2014.15. The area of land to be assessed is <br /> located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda County. <br /> SECTION 2. The City Council intends to levy and collect assessments within <br /> Lighting & Landscape Maintenance District No. 1993-2., Bonde Ranch, during fiscal year <br /> 2014-15. The area of land to be assessed is located in the City of Pleasanton, Alameda <br /> County. <br /> SECTION 3. The improvements to be made in this assessment district are <br /> generally described as follows: <br /> The maintenance and repair of street lighting, designated landscaped areas, open space <br /> slopes, fuel transition zones (fire breaks), entry features, open space drainage ditches, <br /> irrigation systems, trees in the open space and designated landscape areas, and the <br /> furnishing of water and power for irrigation systems, together with all appurtenance and <br /> incidental expenses within Tract 6483 and Tract 6518, City of Pleasanton. <br /> SECTION 4. In accordance with this resolution directing the filing of an annual <br /> report, Steve Kirkpatrick, Engineer of Work, has filed with the City Clerk the report <br /> required by the Landscaping and Lighting Act of 1972.
