THE CITY OF 8 <br /> PLEA5ANTONe CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> May 6, 2014 <br /> Community Development <br /> Engineering Division <br /> TITLE: ACCEPT PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS PERFORMED BY S.R.P. COMPANY <br /> FOR THE BI-ANNUAL EROSION CONTROL AND STORM REPAIRS - <br /> SYCAMORE TANK PROJECT, CIP NO. 118015 <br /> SUMMARY <br /> This project consisted of site improvements to control storm water and prevent erosion <br /> around Sycamore Water Storage Tank. The project repaired existing drainage ditches, <br /> installed new concrete lined V-ditches and hydro seeded the site. Construction of this <br /> project is complete and ready for acceptance by City Council. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> 1. Accept the project improvements. <br /> 2.. Authorize the City Clerk to file a Notice of Completion for the project. <br /> 3. Authorize payment of the retention in the amount of $3,296.99 to S.R.P. Company <br /> of Antioch, California thirty days after the recordation of the Notice of Completion. <br /> 4.. Authorize the transfer of the project balance in the amount of $16,282 to the fund <br /> balance in the Storm Drain Capital Improvement Fund. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> Funding for this project totaled $100,000 as outlined in Attachment 1.. Expenditures <br /> totaled $83,718, leaving a balance of$16,282, to be returned to the fund balance in the <br /> Storm Drain Capital Improvement Fund. <br />
