Public Hearing: Consider adopting a resolution declaring a Stage 3 Water Shortage and <br /> mandating a 25% reduction in water usage; a resolution proclaiming a local drought emergency; <br /> and introducing an ordinance to amend Municipal Code §§9.30.080 and 14.04.060 to prohibit <br /> outdoor irrigation during rain <br /> 20. Public Hearing: PUD-98 and P13-2518, CarMax — Consider: (1) Introduction of an ordinance <br /> approving a Planned Unit Development (PUD) Development Plan to construct an automobile <br /> dealership consisting of an approximately 11,783-square-foot sales and presentation building, an <br /> approximately 45,000-square-foot , service building, an approximately 3,930-square-foot quality <br /> control building and non-public car wash, vehicle sales display area, and related site <br /> improvements on approximately 19.66 acres of the Auto Mall site at Staples Ranch; and (2) Sign <br /> Design Review for related project signage <br /> 21. Public Hearing: <br /> (a) Approve the allocation of Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) and Community Grant <br /> Program Funds for the Fiscal Year 2014 Grant Funding Cycle (FY 2014-15) <br /> (b) Approve the Annual Action Plan (FY 2014-15) for the Use of Federal Community <br /> Development Block Grant (CDBG) Funds <br /> 22. Public Hearing: Approve the submission of a $1.25 million Section 108 Loan Guarantee <br /> application to the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) to provide financial <br /> assistance to the Axis Community Clinic expansion project and authorize the City to enter into a <br /> Public Participating Jurisdictions (PPJ) agreement with the cities of Livermore and Dublin and the <br /> County of Alameda to repay the loan <br /> MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS: Brief reports on conferences, seminars, and meetings attended by the Mayor <br /> and City Council <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> Notice <br /> Under Government Code §54957.5, any writings/documents regarding an open session item on this agenda provided to a <br /> majority of the City Council after distribution of the agenda packet will be available for public inspection at City Hall in the City <br /> Clerk's Office, 123 Main Street, Pleasanton. <br /> There is a 90-day limit for the filing of a challenge in the Superior Court to certain City administrative decisions and orders, <br /> which require a hearing by law, the receipt of evidence, and the exercise of discretion. The 90-day limit begins on the date the <br /> decision is final (Code of Civil Procedure § 1094.6). Further, if you challenge an action taken by the City Council in court, you <br /> may be limited, by California law, including but not limited to Government Code §65009, to raising only those issues you or <br /> someone else raised in the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to or at the public <br /> hearing. The City Council may be requested to reconsider a decision if the request is made prior to the next City Council <br /> meeting, regardless of whether it is a regular or special meeting. <br /> Accessible Public Meetings <br /> The City of Pleasanton will provide special assistance for citizens with disabilities to participate in public meetings upon <br /> advance notice. If you need an auxiliary hearing aid or sign language assistance at least two working days advanced notice is <br /> necessary.
