ATTACHMENT 2 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 14- <br /> RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING SIGN DESIGN REVIEW, AS FILED UNDER CASE NO. P13-2518 <br /> WHEREAS, CarMax Auto Superstores has made an application to the City for <br /> Sign Design Review for project-related signage for the automobile dealership proposed <br /> on approximately 19.66 acres of the Auto Mall site at Staples Ranch, filed under Case <br /> No. P13-2518; and <br /> WHEREAS, after a February 2014 workshop, at its meeting of April 9, 2014, the <br /> Planning Commission found that the proposed Sign Design Review is appropriate for <br /> the project and adopted Resolution PC-2014-15, recommending to the Pleasanton City <br /> Council that Sign Design Review application P13-2518 be approved; and <br /> WHEREAS; a duly-noticed public hearing was held by the City Council on May 6, <br /> 2014, at which time the public was given the opportunity to comment on Sign Design <br /> Review application P13-2518; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council considered all the information presented at the <br /> public hearing regarding the proposed signage under Sign Design Review application <br /> P13-2518. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE <br /> CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE, AND ORDER <br /> THE FOLLOWING: <br /> SECTION 1. It finds that the proposed Sign Design Review application is <br /> consistent with the City's General Plan and the Stoneridge Drive Specific Plan <br /> Amendment/Staples Ranch Specific Plan. <br /> SECTION 2. It approves the Sign Design Review application subject to <br /> conditions in Exhibit A-2, a copy of which is attached hereto incorporated herein by this <br /> reference; <br /> SECTION 3. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon the <br /> effective date of the ordinances approving the PUD development plan for this project. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED, AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on May 6, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the <br /> foregoing resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on the <br /> 6th day of May 2014, by the following vote: <br /> 1 <br />
