Engineering Division <br /> 63. The developer shall abandon all utility services (water, sewer, and storm) stubbed <br /> to the site which will not be used to serve this development. <br /> Traffic Division <br /> 64. The applicant shall design and install all needed modifications to the traffic signal <br /> system at the intersection of West Las Positas Boulevard at Hacienda Drive to <br /> provide full eight phase operation with protected left turns. This includes: <br /> • modifying the south leg of the intersection to provide one left turn and one <br /> shared through/right turn lane <br /> • modifying the north leg of the intersection to provide one left turn lane, one <br /> through lane, and one right turn lane and modification to the roadway median <br /> to reduce the through lane offset. <br /> • all needed changes to signal heads and equipment <br /> • upgrade of vehicle detection system to current standards including bicycle <br /> detection <br /> • provide accessible pedestrian push buttons <br /> • intersection striping and signing <br /> • any additional modifications needed to upgrade traffic signal system to <br /> current standards <br /> 65. Comprehensive traffic control measures shall be implemented during construction, <br /> including scheduling of major truck trips and deliveries, to avoid peak travel hours. <br /> If necessary, as determined by the Traffic Engineer, proper lane closure <br /> procedures such as flagger stations, signage, cones, and other warning devices <br /> shall be implemented during construction. <br /> 66. The applicant shall work with the Hacienda Owners Association to provide ECO <br /> passes to the residents and employees of the development for free use of the <br /> LAVTA transit system. <br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department <br /> 67. The buildings covered by this approval shall be equipped with an automatic fire <br /> sprinkler system. Plans and specifications for the automatic fire sprinkler system <br /> shall be submitted for review and approval by the Livermore-Pleasanton Fire <br /> Department prior to installation. The fire alarm system, including water flow and <br /> valve tamper, shall have shop drawings submitted for review and approval by the <br /> Livermore-Pleasanton Fire Department prior to installation. All required <br /> inspections and witnessing of tests shall be completed prior to final inspection and <br /> occupancy of the building(s). <br /> 11 of 31 <br />
