NOTICE 0~ EZEOTION <br /> <br /> Whereas, in accordance with the provisions of the State law <br />governing municipal elections, it becomes the duty of the council <br />of the Town of Pleasanton to give notice of such election and to <br />perform such other acts as are required by law; now thereofore <br /> <br /> Be it Resolved by the Council of the Town of Pls asanton. <br />that public notice is hereby given that an election will be held <br />in the Town of Pleasanton on Monday. the 9th day of April. A.D. <br />1934 for the purpose of electing the ~ollowing officers: <br /> <br /> 2wo (2) councilmen to serve for the full term of Bur <br /> <br />years. <br /> <br /> Be it further Resolved that said election be conducted <br /> in accordance with law a~ that said election be held in one <br /> precinct to be known as consolidated Election Precinct "A", said <br /> consolidated precinct to be composed of the three election <br /> prec~incts in the Town of Pleasanton, the boundar~s of such <br /> precincts to be the same as those prescribed by the Board of <br /> Supervisors of Alameda county for State and County elec~ons; and <br /> <br /> Be it further resolved, that the polling p~ce of said <br /> precinct shall be at the Odd Pellowe Hall. on the s~uth side of <br /> St. Ma~ys Street, between ~iaJ~St.~ mnd Pleasanton Avenue in <br /> the Town of Pleasanton. California; and that said polls shall <br /> remain open for eight (8) consecutive hours, to-wit from <br /> 10:30 o'clock a.m. until 6:30 o'clock p.m., and be it <br /> <br /> · urther Resolved that the town c~rk be and he is hereb~ <br />authorized and instructed to cause to be published in the <br />Pleasanton Times such notices as are required to b e published <br />by law in conjunction wi th the aforesaid election: <br /> <br /> And be it further resl~ed that the following tamed <br />persons are hereby nominated and appointed to conduct the <br />aforesaid election: <br /> <br /> <br />
