The fo!!owinE a~ditional provisions of the Public Employees' Retire- ~nent Law which ~pDIy only upo~ election of a contracting agency shall apply to the Public Agency and its. employees: a. Sections 21~80-2133~ (1959 Survivors Program). b. Section 20020 "Local Policemen" shall include Mrsons assigned to identific~tion and corcmunication duties in the Pc!ice Department who are not no~,~ !oc~21 safety members and who were in such emplo}c~ent on August 4, 1972, who elect safety membership on' or before September 28, 1973. 8. Public Agency shall contribute to said Retirement System as follows: a. ~';ith respect to miscellaneous members, the agency shall con- tribute the fol!o~.~ieg ~reentages of monthly s~laries earned as misce!lan~us me~qbers of said Retirement System: (1)12.292 percent on account of the liability for current service benefits.
