CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 913 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AUTHORIZING AN AMENDMENT TO THE CONTRACT BETWEEN THE CITY <br /> COUNCIL AND THE BOARD OF ADMINISTRATION OF THE CALIFORNIA <br /> PUBLIC EMPLOYEES' RETIREMENT SYSTEM. <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. That an amendment to the Contract between the City Council <br /> of the City of Pleasanton and the Board of Administration, <br /> California Public Employees' Retirement System is hereby <br /> authorized, a copy of said amendment being attached hereto, <br /> marked Exhibit A., and by such reference made a part hereof <br /> as though herein set out in full. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Mayor of the City Council is hereby authorized, empowered, <br /> and directed to execute said amendment for and on behalf of said <br /> Agency. <br /> <br />Section 3. This Ordinance shall take effect 30 days after the date <br /> of its adopt%on, and, prior to the expiration of 15 days from <br /> the passagelthereof, shall be published at least once in the <br /> The Valley Time-s, a newspaper of general circulation, published <br /> and circulated in the City of I'Pleasanton and thenceforth and <br /> thereafter the same shall be in full force and effect. <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br /> Pleasanton on October 23, 1979. <br />ADOPTED and approved at a regular meeting of the City Council of the <br /> City of Pleasanton on November 13, 1979, by the following vote: <br /> <br /> AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Mayor Brandes <br /> NOES: None <br /> <br /> Clayton E.
