CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFOP~]IA ORDINANCE NO. 912 AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 9.84+ ACRES OF LAND LOCATED ON THE EAST SIDE OF FOOTHILL ROA~ APPROXIMATELY 550 FEET SOUTH OF BEP~NAL AVENUE FROM THE R-1-6500 (SINGLE- FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DISTRICT (6,500 SQ. FT. MINIMUM LOT SIZE) TO THE R-i-20,000 (SINGLE-FAMILY RESIDENTIAL) DIST- RICT (20,000 SQ. FT. MINI~fU~ LOT SIZE) (ZONING UNIT MAP 3196) THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. Rezones approximately 9.84+ acres of land located on the east side' of Foothill Road approximateIy 550 feet south of Bernal Avenue from the R-1-6500 (Single-Family Residential) District (6,500 sq. ft. minimum lot size to the R-I-20,000 (Single-Family Residential) District (20,000 sq. ft. minimum lot size). The area rezoned is more particularly described on Zoning Unit Map No. 196, attached hereto and incorporated herein by reference. Section 2 The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, 1960, on ~ile with the City Clerk, designating and dividing the City into zoning districts is hereby amended by Zoning Unit Map No. 196, attached hereto as Exhibit A, dated October 18, 1979. Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) days after its adoption in THE TIMES, a newspaper of general circula- tion, published in the City of Pleasanton. Section 4. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the ~City of Pleasanton on October 9, 1979.
