ATTACHMENT 1 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. <br /> A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON, <br /> APPROVING THE INVESTMENT POLICY AND GUIDELINES OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON <br /> WHEREAS, pursuant to Government Code §§53601 and 53635, the City's Investment <br /> Policy and Guidelines must be submitted to Council annually for adoption; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a policy document for the 2014/15 fiscal <br /> year on April 15, 2014; and <br /> WHEREAS, staff is recommending approval of the policies and guidelines outlined in <br /> that document. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: <br /> Section 1. It adopts the Investment Policy and Guidelines for the 2014/15 fiscal year <br /> as reflected in Exhibit A. <br /> Section 2. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this resolution and enter it <br /> into the book of original resolutions. <br /> PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at <br /> a regular meeting held on April 15, 2014. <br /> I, Karen Diaz, City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, California, certify that the foregoing <br /> resolution was adopted by the City Council at a regular meeting held on April 15, 2014 by the <br /> following vote: <br /> Ayes: <br /> Noes: <br /> Absent: <br /> Abstain: <br /> Karen Diaz, City Clerk <br /> APPROVED AS TO FORM: <br /> Jonathan Lowell, City Attorney <br />
