MATTERS INITIATED BY COUNCIL— None <br /> COUNCIL REPORTS <br /> Councilmember Brown said she met with Pleasanton Unified School District the day before to discuss <br /> water conservation, growth on the east side, and their own plans for schools and facilities. <br /> Councilmember Cook-Kallio reported that she and three other Council members attended the <br /> Ahwahnee Water Conference and were pleased to learn that Pleasanton is already a leader in many of <br /> their recommendations. <br /> Vice-Mayor Pentin reported that he recently attended the StopWaste Business Efficiency Awards <br /> meeting, in which the local Home Depot, along with others in the area, were honored with the Waste <br /> Reduction Excellence by a Building Materials Supplier Award. <br /> ADJOURNMENT <br /> There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned at 10:35 p.m. The Council extended a <br /> tribute to our nation's men and women serving in the military.
