CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 906 <br /> <br /> AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 2 OF TITLE IV (HEALTH, SAFETY, <br /> MORALS AND GENERAL WELFARE) OF THE ORDINANCE CODE OF THE CITY <br /> OF PLEASANTON BY DELETING IN THEIR ENTIRETY ARTICLE 5 (PIANO <br /> PLAYING) AND ARTICLE 6 (HOURS BUSINESS MAY RE~IN OPEN) <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON HEREBY ORDAINS AS FOLLOWS: <br />Section 1. Chapter 2 of Title IV (Health, Safety, Morals and General <br />Welfare) of the Ordinance Code of the City of Pleasanton is hereby <br />amended by deleting in their entirety Article 5 (Piano Playing) and <br />Article 6 (Hours Business May Remain Open). <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days <br />a"fter the date of its final passage and adoption. <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br />(15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of general <br />circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on September 11, 1979. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on September 18, 1979, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers - Butler, Kephart, Mercer, Wood and <br /> Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: None <br /> <br /> Clay~6n E.
