A total of 304 resident and guest parking spaces would be provided, comprised <br /> of: 130 spaces in the apartment building garages, 124 carport spaces, and 50 surface <br /> parking spaces including 12 compact parking spaces. At least one covered space would <br /> be provided for, and assigned to, each apartment unit. <br /> Tree Removal. A total of 103 existing trees were surveyed on the subject property; among <br /> them, 27 are heritage-sized trees as defined by the Municipal Code. The heritage-sized <br /> trees consist of 13 evergreen ash trees, six red ironbark trees, seven callery pear trees, <br /> and one cork oak. As proposed, all heritage-sized trees, except for two, would be <br /> preserved. Overall, the proposed development would remove 54 existing trees (two are <br /> heritage-sized trees).
