BACKGROUND <br /> In January 2012, the City Council approved rezoning of nine sites throughout the City for <br /> multifamily development in order to meet the City's share of the regional housing needs <br /> (Ordinance No. 2030). One of the approved locations is the CM Capital Properties site located <br /> at 5850 and 5758 West Las Positas Boulevard. The CM Capital Properties site consists of two <br /> parcels: a 5.9 acre parcel located at 5850 West Las Positas Boulevard and a 6.7 acre parcel <br /> located at 5758 West Las Positas Boulevard.
