PROJECT DESCRIPTION <br /> The project consists of a series of related land use entitlements: PUD development <br /> plan, affordable housing agreement, growth management approval, and development <br /> agreement. These are summarized below and are described fully in the attached <br /> Planning Commission and Housing Commission staff reports. <br /> PUD Development Plan <br /> The applicant proposes to build a 177-unit apartment complex on the approximately 5.9- <br /> acre site. The proposed development is summarized below: <br /> Density. The project on the 5.9-acre site would include four residential buildings <br /> housing 177 apartment units. The density of the project is 30 dwelling units per acre. <br /> Site Layout. The site layout for the apartment complex consists of: two U-shaped <br /> buildings (Building A and Building B) located in the northern portion of the site closer <br /> to West Last Positas Boulevard; each of the U-shaped buildings has two apartment <br /> units in the middle; and two rectangular-shaped buildings (Building C and Building D) <br /> located in the southern portion of the site. <br /> Setbacks. The apartment buildings would have the following setbacks: <br /> Building Carport <br /> Front Yard (W. Las Positas 33 feet 33 feet <br /> Blvd.) <br /> Side Yard: <br /> West Side: 50 feet 8 feet <br /> East Side: 17 feet to internal street n/a <br /> Rear Yard (Arroyo Mocho) 52 feet 8 feet <br /> Building Height. The following table lists the proposed building height for each <br /> building.
