TOl9id OF PZEAS9NTO.~ • <br />Resolution No. E033 <br />WHEREAS, the State oY California, under Chapter 20, Statutes of 1946 <br />(First Estra Session), ea amended, has appropriated Yunda Yor allotment to <br />provide Yor Yinaneiel assistance to Loo al Agencies, deYined therein as <br />counties, cities and counties, or cities, so that they may engage in a <br />large public works construction program in order to prevent and alleviate <br />unemployment; and <br />w{'{]'i,RRAR~ the Town oY Pleasanton hereinaYter designated "Local A$enoy" <br />desires to apply Yor an allotment of State aid Yor the construction of a <br />public works project under said got; and <br />WHEREAS, an application to the State Direotor oY Finance Yor sucsh an <br />allotment has been prepared and preseaCed to this Legislative Body Yor con- <br />sideration; and <br />WHEREAS, Local Agency has made provisions Yor paying that portion of <br />the cost oY the project not requested as an a 1lotment from the State; <br />NO~P THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency submit the aforesaid <br />app~.ioation Yor State aid Yor construction of a public works project to the <br />Direotor oY Finance, requesting an allotment oY FIFTEEN THOUSAND 8I% <br />HUNDRED AIID BO 100 Dollars (~1b,600.00), or an sl~otment oY each amount as <br />may ~'sTSotted by the State Allocation Board; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby certiYies that the <br />total estimate oY coat to be paid for the conatrnotion oP 8ews~a Treatmsni <br />Plant for which Loosl Agency is making application under sa 1 ie 03E <br />QED THIRTY-FIVE THOUSAND S_E_VEH HIT~DRED THIRTY AND NO/100 Dollars <br />0135,730.00); and ___ - <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Local Agency hereby requests the State to <br />pay the State's share oY the total actual coat oY eonstrnetion oY the pro- <br />~eot Yor which Local Agency is making application for aid; <br />BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that Yor the purpose oY this request Earl <br />TriminAham. for.
