grAL, MATERIAL
o the City Council
= #budlur ot ridickut
From: ,Joanne Hall
Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2014 3:06 PM '11)at ,
To: Sandi Farrell; Mayor and City Council
Cc: Brian Dolan; Janice Stern; Maria Hoey; Pleasanton City Clerk
Subject: RE: Putting a hold on EPSP work
Dear Mr. and Mrs. Farrell:
Thank you for taking the time to write and share your concerns about the East Side Specific Plan. This
email acknowledges receipt of your email to the City Council and the City Manager. Thank you again
for your interest in the City of Pleasanton.
Joanne Hall
Public Information Officer
From: Sandi Farrell
Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2014 2:58 PM
To: Mayor and City Council
Cc:
Subject: Putting a hold on EPSP work
Importance: High
We writing to ask the City Council to put a hold on the East Pleasanton Specific Plan for the next several years
since Paul McDougal has let the City know that we have met our RHNA obligations through 2022. We
currently have more lower cost housing zoned than we need! To continue to spend limited resources on this
work is a poor allocation of City funds and staff time. Any assumptions made by continuing this work could
quite possibly be outdated and irrelevant by 2022. Please don't give in to the pressure being put on by the
developers to continue the EPSP work at this time. We should honor the voice of the citizens who approved a
housing cap as long as we have met our required RHNA zoning requirements for the next eight years.
Thank you for your thoughtful consideration,
Sincerely,
Jim and Sandi Farrell
1'
Pleasanton
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
