From: Joanne Hall rovdec tC City cil
Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2014 3:33 PM After 6istri uticr of Packet
To: ; Mayor and City Council
Cc: Brian Dolan; Janice Stern; Maria Hoey; Pleasanton City Clerk
Subject: RE: East Pleasanton Specific Plan ate , ,
Dear Ms. Brachna:
Thank you for taking the time to write and share your concerns about the East Side Specific Plan. This
email acknowledges receipt of your email to the City Council and the City Manager. Thank you again
for your interest in the City of Pleasanton.
Joanne Hall
Public Information Officer
From:
Sent: Tuesday, March 04, 2014 3:31 PM
To: Mayor and City Council
Subject: East Pleasanton Specific Plan
Dear Councilpersons,
I understand that you will be discussing the East Pleasanton Specific Plan at this evenings meeting
and since I will not be able to attend I wanted to voice my objection to moving forward with EPSP. I
have been a long time resident of Pleasanton and have watched us be forced by the state to add
housing to our city plan, Since we have done this and exceeded the current Regional Housing Needs
Assessment quota, why would we use resources, staff and time to work on additional expansion of
our city? It is better to use our time and resources to accommodate the growth we will have from the
additional housing units we already have than to invest in something that is not needed for several
years. The needs of the city and the economy will change in the next five years, put this off until then.
Thank you for your consideration,
Carol Brachna
Click here to report this email as spam.
1
