OWN OF PLEASANTO <br /> <br />Resolution ........... <br /> <br /> FOR TRANSFER 0F RIGHT 0F ~TAY OR SITES I~IONEY <br /> TO PLANS PREPARATION ALLOCATIONS <br /> <br />1. ~HEREAS, the State of California under Chapter,Ag, Statutes of 1944, <br />{4th extra session) appropriated funds for allotment to local Agencies, <br />defined therein as cities, cities and counties, or cou~uties, for the pur- <br />pose of aiding in the acquisition of rights of way and sites for certain <br />post war public works projects in which there is a State interest, all as <br />set forth in said Act; and <br /> <br />2. WHEREA~, Chapter 1455, Statutes of 19&5, which m~ends the aforesaid <br />Act, autho2izes a Local Agency to use monies allocated to such Local <br />Agency, under said Act, for acquisition of rights o~ way and sites, go be <br />transferred and used in preparing surveys, plans and specifications for a <br />specific project; and <br /> <br />3. V~HEREAS, The Town of Pleaean~on, hereinafter called "Local Agency", <br />has had allocated to it by said Act an allocation for the acquisition of <br />rights of way or sites which allocation contains a sufficient ~alance to <br />permit Local Agency to apply to the Postwar Public Works Review Board under <br />the aforesaid Act, as amended, for the transfer therefrom of the sum here- <br />inafSer mentioned to be added to the amount allocated or assigned to Local <br />Agency for the preparation of surveys, plans and specifications for a spec- <br />ific project as set forth in said Act; and <br /> <br />4. x~HEREAS,~an application for such transfer has been submitted go this <br />governing body for consideration; <br /> <br />5. NOW,THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that Local Agency herein named applies <br />to the Postwar Public Works Review Board pursuant to the provisions o~ <br />Chapter ~?, Statutes of 1944 I&th Extra Session) as amended by Chapter <br />1~, Statutes of 19~, for the transfer of the sum of Three Hundred Thirty <br />Four and Twenty Seven Hundreths Dollars ($3~4.~?) from Local Agency's all- <br />ocation for acquisition of rights of way or sites, to be added to the <br />amount allocated or assigned to Local Agency under said Act ~or the prep- <br />aration of surveys, plans and specifications for a specific project; and <br /> <br />6.
