RESOLUTION NO. 1905 <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECi~,~ING i~ULTS O~' ELECTION <br /> <br /> WH/~REAS, a general municipal <br />Town of Pleasanton, on Tuesday, <br />by law, <br /> <br />election was held end conducted in the <br />the 9th day of ~pril.1946 as required <br /> <br /> AHD W~]REAS, it appears that notice of said election was duly given, <br />that voting precincts were properly established, that election of~fice~'s <br />were appointed and eledtion supplies furnished, and that in all respects <br />said election was held and conducted and the votes cast thereat received <br />and canvassed, and the returns thereof made, determined and declared in <br />time, form and manner as required by the general laws of the State <br />providing for and regulating municipa. 1 elections in cities of the fifth <br /> <br />and sixth class~ <br /> <br /> AND W~P~AS, <br />Counc il Chamber <br /> <br />the City Council of said Town of Pleasanton met at the <br />thereof on Tuesday, the 16th day of April,1946 at 8 P.M. <br />to cozuut the ballots cast by absentee voters an~ to canvass the returns <br />of said election, and ins~ll the newly elected officers; <br /> <br /> AND WHEREAS, the Council finds as a result of said canvass that the <br />number of votes cast, the names of the persons voted for, and the matters <br />required by law, to be as P=eeinafter stated; <br /> <br /> NOW T~V~OR~ IT IS H~EBY ~SOLVED,DETEi~[INED, AND DECLARED as follows: <br />That said regualr municipal election was held and conducted in the Town of <br />Pleasanton on Tuesday, the 9th day of ~pril,1946, in time, form, and manner <br />as required by law. <br /> <br /> That there was one voting precinct established in said Town for the <br />purpose of holding said election, as follows: <br /> <br /> Consolidated Precinct "A" composed of Pleasanton Precincts Nos. l, <br /> <br />2 and 3 established for holding state and county elections; <br /> <br /> That the whole number of votes ~oted <br />said election was 296. <br /> <br /> That the names of the persons voted <br />they voted, and <br />received in the <br /> <br />in said Town of Pleasanton at <br /> <br /> for and the officers for which <br />the whole n~n]ber of votes which each of said persons <br />entire Eown of Pleasanton, are as follows: <br /> <br /> <br />
