RESOLUTION NO. 13-647 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON ACCEPTING THE 2012/13FY YEAR-END FINANCIAL REPORT OF THE OPERATING BUDGET AND AMENDING THE 2012/13FY OPERATING BUDGET WHEREAS, each year a report of financial condition of the Operating Budget is presented to Council which includes staff recommendations for budget amendments, and WHEREAS, staff presented to Council such a report for the fiscal year ending June 30, 2013; and WHEREAS, as a result of the year-end financial review, staff made numerous recommendations as outlined in that report. NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED THAT THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES RESOLVE, DECLARE, DETERMINE AND ORDER THE FOLLOWING: SECTION 1: The City Council amends the 2012/13FY Operating Budget as as shown in Attachment 2. SECTION 2: It fully appropriates the June 30, 2013, Fund Balances as shown in Attachment 2. SECTION 3: It amends the designations of General Fund Reserves for existing and future, known and unknown, obligations as shown in Exhibit A for all funds and as follows for the General Fund: Year- End Recommended General Fund -Fund Balance Amended Budget Ending Fund Reserve Designations Budget Adjustments Balance 10% Reserve for Economic Uncertainties $9,128,000 $101,188 $9,229,188 Unassigned Fund Balance 3,034,533 777,861 3,812,394 Total $12,162,533 $879,049 $13,041,582 PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on the 19th day of November, 2013.
