ORDINANCE NO. 2087 <br /> AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> AMENDING TITLE 11, CHAPTER 11.20, SECTION 11.20.010, OF THE <br /> MUNICIPAL CODE TO SET AND REVISE SPEED LIMITS FOR PARTICULAR <br /> CITY STREETS <br /> THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY <br /> ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> SECTION 1. Title 11, Vehicles and Traffic, Chapter 11.20, Speed Limits Section <br /> 11.20.010, Speed Limits in Certain Zones, of the Municipal Code of the City of <br /> Pleasanton, is hereby amended to add new subsections, amend existing subsections, <br /> and delete subsections, as follows: <br /> 11.20.010 Speed limits in certain zones. <br /> Based upon an engineering and traffic investigation and study, the prima facie <br /> speed limit shall be as set forth in this section on those streets, or parts of said streets, <br /> designated in this section when signs are in place giving notice thereof: <br /> HH. Stoneridge Drive: <br /> 9. From Newton Way to the end of Stoneridge Drive Trevor Parkway <br /> the speed limit shall be 35 miles per hour. <br /> 10 From Trevor Parkway to El Charro Road the speed limit shall be 40 <br /> miles per hour. <br /> KK. Vineyard Avenue: <br /> 2. From Montevino Drive to Pietronave Lane Vineyard Terrace the <br /> speed limit shall be 40 miles per hour. <br /> 3. From Pietronave Vineyard Terrace to Machado Place the speed <br /> limit shall be 45 miles per hour. • <br /> SECTION' 2. A summary of this ordinance shall be published once within <br /> fifteen (15) days after its adoption in "The Valley Times," a newspaper of general <br /> circulation published in the City of Pleasanton, and the complete ordinance shall be <br /> posted for fifteen (15) days in the City Clerk's office within fifteen (15) days after its <br /> adoption. <br /> SECTION 3. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after its passage <br /> and adoption. <br />
