The scope also includes a public outreach strategy including two community workshops,
focus group discussions with for-profit and non-profit housing developers and service
providers, stakeholder consultations, and a project website. PMC's scope also includes
attendance at four meetings with the Housing Commission, Planning Commission and
City Council. Additional meeting attendance would be an optional cost. The preparation
of an Addendum to the previously certified Supplemental EIR on the Housing Element,
and working with HCD to obtain certification of the Housing Element is also part of PMC's
scope.
PMC proposes a budget of $53,445 (excluding optional services) to prepare the Housing
Element update. Staff recommends adding a contingency of $6,555 which could be used
for additional services. PMC describes several optional tasks related to planning
requirements triggered by the Housing Element update. A decision on whether or not
some of these tasks are necessary, and should be funded from the contingency, will be
made after an initial analysis.
Submitted El Financial Review: Approv by:
Brian Dolan Emily Wagner Nelson Fialho
Director, Director of Finance City Manager
Community Development
Attachments:
1.
