Mr. Peter Turner, Attorney representing Thomas K. Hc~anus, stated that Hr. }IcHanus and the pote~tial developer, Crocker Homes, were agreeable to conditions attached to the project. Mr. Pmrvey Kameny, 2426 Crestltne Road, representing Crocker Homes, presented a development ~ap of the five acre parcel, and addressed concerns regarding arrangement to keep traffic from flowir~ onto Sutter Cate Court. Mr. Doug Bennington, 4957 Hohr Avenue, stated he was opposed to the fire access road. There being no further testimony, Mayor Brandes declared the public hearing . closed. It was moved by Coun¢ilmpmber Butler, and seconded By Councilmember Wood. that Ordinance No. 896, to be read by title only and waiving further reading thereof~ to rezone a 5-acre parcel of land located immediately westerly of the terminus of Sutter Gate Avenue and southerly of the Arroyo Mocho Canal from the "A" (Agricul- tural) District to the R-1-7500 (Si~le-Family Residential) District, and amending the ZoninEMap of the City of Pleasa~ton accordin~ly, he introduced. Application of Ponderosa Homes for an amendment to the Land Use El~ent of the General Plan which would comprehensively chan~e the la~ use designations on a 240-acre site located between 1-680 and Hopyard Road north and west of the exist- ln~ development alon~ Mansen Drive a~d Via quiro. The chan~es would remove the planned school sites and rearrange the proposed locations of ~arks~ high densit~ residential~ and medium density resident~l d~elo~me~t on the site.
