CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA <br /> <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 894 <br /> <br /> APPROVING THE APPLICATION OF MISSION PARK INVESTMENT <br /> COMPANY FOR A PLANNED DEVELOPMENT CONSISTING OF A <br /> 108-LOT RESIDENTIAL SUBDIVISION CONTAINING A 2.4-ACRE <br /> COMMERCIAL AREA ON A 54-ACRE PARCEL OF LAND LOCATED <br /> IMMEDIATELY EASTERLY OF SUNOL BOULEVARD AND BET~EN <br /> MISSION DRIVE AND PICO AVENUE SUBJECT TO CONDITIONS <br /> ESTABLISHED BY THE PLANNING COMMISSION IN ITS RESOLU- <br /> TION NO. 1743 WITH CERTAIN CONDITIONS ADDED BY CITY <br /> COUNCIL AND STAFF AND REZONING THE PROPERTY FROM RM-2500, <br /> R-1-6500 AND A (AGRICULTURAL) DISTRICTS TO PUD (PLANNED <br /> UNIT DEVELOPMENT) AS SHOWN ON ZONING UNIT I~P ~189 <br /> <br />WHERFJ~S, the City Council, at its meeting of July 10, 1979, held <br /> a public hearing regarding the application of Mission Park <br /> Investment Company for approval of a planned development <br /> consisting of a 10~_lot residential subdivision containing <br /> a 2.4 acre commercial area on a 54 acre parcel of land <br /> located immediately easterly of Sunol Boulevard and between <br /> Mission Drive and Pico Avenue; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, an Environmental Impact Report had been completed in com- <br /> pliance with California Environmental Quality Act and State <br /> Guidelines and was considered by the City Council at the pub- <br /> lic hearingJuly 10, 1979, together with a report from <br /> Director of Planning and Community Development regarding <br /> this matter; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, members.of the public, aslwell as the staff, were afforded <br /> an opportunity Co comment onthe application and the Environ- <br /> mental .Impact Report; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, at the ~lose of the public hearing, Council adopted Resolu- <br /> tion No. 79-108, certifying that the Environmental Impact <br /> Report has been completed in compliance with California <br /> Environmental Quality Act and State Guidelines, that the <br /> Council has reviewed and considered the information in the <br /> Environmental Impact Report, and finding that the project <br /> would have significant adverse impacts on the environment <br /> but that certain conditions of approval would mitigate <br /> the significant impacts of the project; <br /> ~HE CItY EDUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES HEREBY ORDAIN AS <br /> FOLLOWS: <br /> Section 1. The application of Mission Park Investment Company for <br /> approval of a planned development, consisting of a 108-lot <br /> residential subdivision containing a 2.4 acre commercial <br /> area on a 54 acre parcel of land located immediately east- <br /> erly of Sunol Boulevard and between Mission Drive and <br /> Pico Avenue, subject to conditions established by the Plan- <br /> ning Commission in their Resolution No. 1743 and with cer- <br /> tain conditions added as established by the City Council <br /> <br /> <br />
