THE CITY OF 6 <br /> CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> LEASANTON© <br /> January 21, 2014 <br /> Library <br /> TITLE: APPROVAL OF 2013/14FY RECURRING PURCHASE ORDER FOR <br /> BAKER & TAYLOR <br /> SUMMARY <br /> The City's Purchasing Manual (Manual) sets forth purchasing procedures for a wide <br /> range of goods and services. The Manual establishes the types and values of goods <br /> and services requiring City Council approval. In June 2013 the City Council approved a <br /> lengthy list of vendors for Recurring Purchase Order Agreements for the 2013/14FY. <br /> Inadvertently Baker & Taylor, a supplier of books to the Library was left off the list. Staff <br /> is recommending Council authorize a Recurring Purchase Order Agreement (RPOA) for <br /> Baker & Taylor with an estimated value of$300,000. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the issuance of RPOAs to Baker & Taylor for the 2013/2014FY. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> No significant fiscal impact results from this action as these are budgeted items included <br /> in the 2013/14FY Operating Budget. <br />
