Flood control, highways and <br />other matters pertaining to Scut:hem Alameda County, and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS Southern Alameda County, Including San Leandro, <br />was at one time united in one assembly district, and <br /> <br /> ~HEREAS a representative residing within one of the <br />communities of 8outhern Alameda County would bettor represent all <br />the people of this area in the State Legislature, <br /> <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the <br />Town of Ploasanton that we petition the Assembly Interim <br />Committee on llection and Reapportionment that the Assembly <br />District for Southern Alameda County be united, and that said <br />district be so drawn that its northern boundary line approximate <br />the San Leandro city line on the north extended to the Contra <br />Costa County line, and include all that portion of Alameda County <br />located to the south thereof. <br /> <br /> INTRODUCED at a regular adjourned meeting of the Town <br />of Pleasanton held on the l~th day of February, 1951, by <br /> <br />was ~opt®d by the following vote: <br /> <br />MAYOR OF THE TOWN OF PLEA~ANTON. <br /> <br /> <br />
