M~ and <br /> <br />Whereas, pursuant to said notices, bids for doing said <br /> <br />work were received by the City Clerk, <br /> <br />and <br /> <br />WHEREAS the bid of Underground <br /> <br />Construction Company is <br /> <br />the lowest and best bid submitted by said bidders; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS said bid is in proper form and conforms to the <br /> <br />plans, specifications and notice to bidders, <br /> <br /> NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said bid of Under- <br />ground Construction Company, to do said work of constructing a <br />crossing for sewage treatment plant affluent under Southern Pacifi <br />Railroad Company property at Pleasanton, California. in accordance <br />with said plans, specifications and notice, be and is hereby <br />accepted as the lowest and best bid for doing said work, and that <br />the Mayor and Clerk of the Town of Pleasanton be and they are <br />hereby authorized and directed to execute a contract on behalf of <br />the Town of Pleasantnn with said Underground Construction Company <br />for the doing of said work. <br /> <br /> BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that all other bids received for <br />the doing of said work be re~octed and tho certified checks <br />and/or bonds accompanying the s~me ~7~tu.rnede <br /> INTRODUCED Councilman~ and seconded by <br />Councilman at a regular m®®ting hold on ~uesday, <br /> <br /> 1951 and passed and adopted bE the fol~6wing vote: <br />February l~th, , <br />AYES: Counc ilm.n ~~~~~__. <br />NOES: Councilmen <br /> ! <br /> Mayor of the Town of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />C~ PleasantOno <br /> <br /> <br />
