Section 2. This ordinance is declared to be an urgency ordinance <br />to take effect immediately and is for the immediate preservation <br />of the public peace, health, safety and welfare in that the pro- <br />cedures set forth in this ordinance are intended to regulate <br />private parking lots under temporary uses during the Alameda <br />County Fair, which fair will run from June 24, 1979, through <br />July 8, 1979. Therefore, the regulations herein which are neces- <br />sary to avoid uncontrolled parking situations must take effect <br />immediately. <br /> <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br />(15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of general <br />circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />INTRODUCED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on May 22, 1979. <br /> <br />ADOPTED at a regular meeting of the City Council of the City of <br />Pleasanton on June 12, 1979, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmembers Kephart, Mercer, Wood and Mayor Brandes <br />NOES: None <br /> <br />ABSENT: Councilmember Butler <br /> <br />ABSTAINED: None o H_ NK ~ <br />ATTEST: N .,~y6r <br />Clayt~ E.
