CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br /> ALAMEDA COUNTY, CALIFORNIA ORDINANCE NO. 885 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REZONING APPROXIMATELY 61 ACRES OF LAND <br /> OWNED BY THOI~'~S McMANUS, LOCATED I~v~EDIATELY NORTH OF THE <br /> SPORTS AND RECREATION PARK FROM THE A (AGRICULTURAL) <br /> DISTRICT TO THE R-1-7500 DISTRICT (ZONING UNIT MAP #181) <br /> <br />THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON DOES ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />Section-1. Rezones the parcel of land approximately 61 acres in <br /> size owned by Thomas McManus, described as the westernmost <br /> 61 acres of the 66 acre site located immediately north of <br /> the Sports and Recreation Park from the A (Agricultural) <br /> District to the R-1-7500 (ResidentiaD District as shown <br /> on Zoning Unit Map No. 181, attached hereto and incorpora- <br /> ted herein by reference. <br /> <br />Section 2. The Zoning Map of the City of Pleasanton dated April 18, <br /> 1960, on file with the City Clerk, designating and dividing <br /> the City into zoning districts is hereby amended in accord- <br /> ance with the action set forth in Section 1 above. <br /> <br />Section 3. Zoning Unit Map No. 181, dated May 16, 1979, on file <br /> with the City Clerk of the City of Pleasanton, a copy of <br /> which is attached hereto as Exhibit "A" and made a part <br /> hereof by reference, designates said land use and zoning <br /> district. <br />Section 4. The rezoning of this property is approved subject to the following condition: <br /> <br /> 1. That no tentative map may be accepted by the <br /> City for filing, unless and until provisions <br /> have been made, acceptable to the City Manager <br /> and City Attorney, for each of the following <br /> commitments of the applicant: <br /> <br /> (a) Construction of two tennis courts on park <br /> property; <br /> <br /> (b) A common meandering parkway; <br /> <br /> (c) A traffic signal on Hopyard Road and the <br /> project's exit road; <br /> <br /> (d) A guarantee of no street access from the <br /> development to Sutter Gate. <br /> <br />Section 5. This ordinance shall be effective thirty (30) days after the date of its final passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 6. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen <br /> (15) days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper <br /> of general circulation, published in the City of Pleasanton. <br /> <br /> <br />
