Similar devices have proven to <br /> be effective in reducing traffic speeds along local streets in Pleasanton and in other communities. The <br /> installation of traffic calming devices will allow residents to benefit from reduced traffic speeds along Black <br /> Avenue. <br /> We, the undersigned support the proposed traffic calming plan including the installation of a speed lump <br /> along Black Avenue to help reduce traffic speeds. <br /> If this petition receives the necessary neighborhood support,staff will request that City Council approve and <br /> fund the Black Avenue Traffic Calming Project.
