ATTACHMENT 1 RESOLUTION NO. A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON APPROVING THE EXPENDITURE OF CITIZENS' OPTIONS FOR PUBLIC SAFETY PROGRAM FUNDS (COPS) WHEREAS, at its meeting of December 3, 2013, the City Council was presented a report recommending the use of Citizens' Option for Public Safety (COPS) funds received from the State, as outlined in Section 30061 of the Government Code and in accordance with AB 1584. NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF PLEASANTON RESOLVES AS FOLLOWS: SECTION 1. The City Council hereby approves the rollover and expenditure of the remaining balance of COPS 15 and approves the recommendations for expenditures of COPS Year 17 as follows: Approximate Allocation Wireless Remote Target System $4,000 Ballistic Body Armor for Police Volunteers 12,000 Exterior Storage Lockers 10,900 Perishable Skills Training Package 4,800 Mini-Tablet Computers 6,800 Forensic Link Analysis 2,800 Reporting Software 12,400 Patrol/Traffic Rifles 9,200 Respirator Fit Tester 9,900 Crime Prevention Supplies 3,000 Portable/Lightweight Video Cameras 2,600 Police Motorcycle Emergency Lights 14,500 Motorcycle Rifle Mounts 8,200 Police Motorcycle Helmet Communications 22,100 SECTION 2. This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its passage and adoption. PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED by the City Council of the City of Pleasanton at a regular meeting held on December 17, 2013.
