JOHN EDGRE]~ & SONS of 234 Main Street, Pleasanton~ Calif- ornia, has submitted a bid to furnish to the Town of Pleasai~ton a ne~ 1954 /~ - door Sedan in accordance with said specifications and detailed itemization of accessories as appear on said bid, for the su~ of ,:2~68.55, ~eas rebate of Federal Ta~ to the To~m of Pleasanton in the sum of i.t125.00, plus Sales Tax :i~67.~1, delivery to be made within Ten (10) days, and has also offered to purchase the 1955 Chevrolet Police auto- mobile of the Towl~ of Pleasanto.a for the sum of .'~1,599.~0~ and ~.HE}U~AS said bid is the lowest and best bid received by the City Council in response to said Notice to Bidders~ and is in accord with said notice and specifications, the automobile so offered to be sold by said Jo?~n Edgren & Sons is best suit~ £or the purposes and uses intended to be made of it by the To~m of Pleass~ton~ and said bid is acceptable to the Council of the Town of Pleasanton~ NOW THF2{EFOt!E BE IT RESOLVi, i~ that said bid be and it is hereby accepted both for the purchase of said new automobile and the sale of the 1953 Chevrolet Sedan of the Town of Pleasanton, and the Mayor of the Town of Pleasanton is hereby authorized to enter into a contract for the Town of Pleasanton with said John Edgren & Sons for the pur- chase of the new 195& Plymouth & - door Sedan and the sale o? said 1955 Chevrolet Sedan in accordance with said Notice to Bidders, plans and specifications and said bid of said JOtt~ !~.DGREN & ~ONS.
