<br /> The budget for Property tax revenues is $49.350 million for 2013/14FY and through the
<br /> First Quarter ending September 30, 2013, $2.008 million or 4.1% has been received by
<br /> the City. These revenues consist of only unsecured property tax. The unsecured
<br /> property tax is the tax on items such as machinery and equipment as opposed to the
<br /> secured property tax which is the tax on real property. A majority of property tax
<br /> revenues are received in December and April each year. Actual property tax revenues
<br /> for the 2012/13FY were $48.649 million. Staff will provide an update to the Council
<br /> regarding property tax revenues at the Midyear Budget Review in March 2014 and will
<br /> provide adjustments, if any, at that time.
