ORD. NO. 877 (Cont.) , <br /> <br /> eo Any such sign approved for a particular subdivision <br /> shall not be changed to advertise another subdivision <br /> without separate approval by the Zoning Administrator~- <br /> <br /> f. Such signs may be established along, but not within, <br /> the right-of-way of any highway, street, or <br /> thoroughfare except such signs may not be <br /> established within 1,000 (one thousand) feet of <br /> the right-of-way line of any freeway or any <br /> route designated a scenic highway by the State, <br /> Alameda County or the City of Pleasanton; <br /> <br /> g. Such signs may be maintained for a period of l(one) <br /> year after which time an extension may be approved <br /> by the Zoning Administrator upon re-application <br /> or the signs completely removed; <br /> <br /> h. Prior to erecting any subdivision sign approved by <br /> the Zoning Administrator, a cash bond or letter of <br /> credit for surety in the amount of $250.00 (two- <br /> hundred-fifty dollars) for each sign shall be posted <br /> by the applicant. The applicant shall file, as well, <br /> a written statement by the property owner authorizing <br /> both the applicant and the City to go onto the <br /> property at any time to remove the sign. In case <br /> of failure to perform or comply with any term or <br /> provision pertaining to such sign, the Zoning <br /> Administrator may declare the bond or letter of <br /> credit forfeited and order the sign removed. Upon " <br /> expiration of the sign approval and satisfactory <br /> removal of the sign by the applicant, the bond shall <br /> be released by the Zoning Administrator upon the <br /> applicant's request. <br /> <br /> One non-illuminated sign pertaining to a proposed use such as <br /> a church, school park apartment complex shopping center, <br /> or any other proposed land use may be erected at the site <br /> of each such proposed use within the subdivision. Such signs <br /> shall display no greater than 12 (twelve) square feet of sign <br /> area and shall be approved as to design and copy by the Zoning <br /> Administrator. <br /> <br />Section 2. This ordinance shall become effective thirty (30) days after <br /> its passage and adoption. <br /> <br />Section 3. This ordinance shall be published once within fifteen (15) <br /> days after its adoption in "THE TIMES," a newspaper of <br /> general circulation, published and circulated in the City of <br /> Pleasanton~ <br /> <br />//// <br /> <br /> -2- <br /> <br /> <br />
