~N THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE T0~N OF PLEA~ANTON <br /> RESOLUTION NO. ~ <br />A RESOLUTION VAOATIN~ ALL OF WEST STREET, <br />A~L OF CASS STREET, A PORTION OF ST. JOHN <br />STREET AND A PORTION OF PLEASANTON AVENUE <br /> <br /> WHERE., on the 13th day of September, 1954, this <br />Council passed its ordinance No. 232 declaring its intention to <br />proceed under the provisions of Part 3 of Division 9 of the <br />Streets and Highways Code, State of California, known as the <br />Street Vacation Act of 1941, to vacate those certain streets or <br />portions thereof which are officially, lawfully and commonly <br />known as hereinafter set forth~ and <br /> <br /> ~REA~, said ordinance of intention fixed a time and <br />place for hearing of all persons interested in or objecting to <br />the proposed vacation, to wit~ }Ionday, October 11, 1954, at <br />8=00 olclock P. M. at the Council 0hambers, City Hall, <br />Pleasanton, California, which time was not less than fifteen <br />(15) days from the above mentioned date of the passage of said <br />ordinance~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS, said ordinance was published in the manner <br /> prescribed by law for the publication of ordinances for the <br /> <br /> Town of Pleasanton, to wit: Once within fifteen (15) days after <br /> its passage on September 13, 195b, in the official newspaper of <br /> <br />the Town of Pleasanton, to wit~ <br />Pleasanton, California~ and <br /> <br /> WHEREAS~ on September <br /> <br />~The Pleasanton Times#, <br /> <br />30, 1954, notices of street <br /> <br />vacation were posted conspicuously along the line of those <br />portions of West Street, Cass Street, St. John Street and <br />Pleasanton Avenue, proposed to be vacated, not more than 300 feet <br />apart, which notice stated the passage of said ordinance of <br /> <br />-1- <br /> <br /> <br />
