The adoption of these Codes will provide the City of Pleasanton with the most up-to- <br /> date standards available under State Law. They will also provide greatly enhanced <br /> national and regional consistency, resulting in a more uniform and streamlined <br /> application. The proposed ordinance provides that these changes will be effective <br /> January 1, 2014, the same time that the State of California is making the State-wide <br /> codes go into effect.
