Councilmember Brown asked and Ms. Stern again confirmed that this action is largely ministerial. Ms. <br /> Stern added that the city does gain some control in the ability to funnel developers towards certain <br /> concessions rather than others. <br /> Mr. Dolan explained that staff selected the two most benign concessions, lot size and a 10% setback <br /> reduction, as those which could be automatically granted. <br /> Vice-Mayor Cook-Kallio asked what the benefit of the ordinance. <br /> Ms. Stern reiterated that it accomplishes one of the goals of the Housing Element and allows for <br /> streamlined review of the next Housing Element. <br /> Mayor Thorne opened the public hearing and, seeing no speakers, closed the public hearing. <br /> MOTION: It was m/s by Cook-Kallio/Narum introduce an ordinance amending Title 17 of the Pleasanton <br /> Municipal Code by adding a new Chapter 17.38 (Density Bonus) to comply with State Density Bonus <br /> Law.
