T~)WN OF PLEASANTON <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2390 <br /> <br /> W}rEREAS, the ordinances of the Town of Pleasanton, in accordance with <br />State Law, require that the City Council of the Town of Pleasanton meet at <br />this time to fix the rate for Town Taxes, designating the amount levied for <br />each fund and must then levy the Taxes upon the Taxable property in the Town: <br /> <br /> NOW TH~QEFOREBE IT RESOLVED that the tax rates for the various funds <br />of the Town of Pleasanton for the fiscal year 1954-1955 are h~reby fixed as <br />follows: <br /> <br />The sum of forty-three cents on each one hundred dollars of <br />assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property <br />in the Town of Pleasanton is to be placed in the General Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of seven cents on each one hundred dollars of assessed <br />valuation to be levied against all taxable property in the <br />Town of Pleasanton is to be placed in the Susic and Promotion <br />Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twelve cents on each one hundred dollars of <br />assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property <br />in the Town of Pleasanton is to be placed in the Library <br />Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of eight and one half cents on each one hundred <br />dollars of assessed valuation to be levied against all <br />taxable property in the Town of Pleasanton is to be placed <br />in the 1929 Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of forty and one half cents on each one hundred <br />dollars of assessed valuation to be levied against all <br />taxable property in the Town of Pleasanton is to be placed <br />in the 19&8 Bond Fund. <br /> <br />The sum of twenty-nine cents on each one hundred dollars of <br />assessed valuation to be levied against all taxable property <br />in the Town of Pleasanton is to be placed in the 1953 <br />Improvement Bond Fund. <br /> <br />Making a total tax rate for the Town of Pleasanton of one <br />dollar and forty cents on each one hundred dollars of aseessed <br />valuation of taxable property. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that in accordance with the provisions of Ordi- <br />nance No. 202 of the Town of Pleasanton, the tax Collector of the County <br />of Alameda is hereby authorized and directed to collect taxes for the Town <br />of Pleasanton at the rate set forth herein and in the manner and at the <br />time provided by law. <br /> <br />AND BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall be published once in <br />the "Pleasanton Times" a newspaper of general circulation printed and pub- <br />lished in the Town of Pleasanton. <br /> <br />Adopted at a regular adjourned meeting of the Council of the Town of Pteasanto] <br />held on August 23, 1954, by the following vote: <br /> <br />AYES: Councilmen/woman Cairo, Hansen, Hector and Trimingham <br />NOES: None <br />ABSENT: Councilman Abrott <br /> <br />Approved this 23rd day of August, 1954 <br /> <br /> <br />
