THE CITY OF 11 <br /> -. . --- • CITY COUNCIL AGENDA REPORT <br /> pLEASANTONC <br /> October 1, 2013 <br /> City Attorney <br /> TITLE: AGREEMENT PROVIDING FOR STABILIZATION OF MOBILEHOME <br /> SPACE RENTS BETWEEN THE CITY OF PLEASANTON AND THE <br /> OWNER OF THE HACIENDA MOBILEHOME PARK <br /> SUMMARY <br /> Agreements have been entered into between the City of Pleasanton and mobilehome <br /> park owners since the late 1980s as an alternative to them being subject to the City's <br /> mobilehome rent stabilization ordinance. The 2007 agreement governing the Hacienda <br /> Mobilehome Park was set to expire at the end of 2012, but has been extended since then <br /> with the mutual consent of both parties in order to allow for the negotiation of a new <br /> agreement. Staff, with considerable input from the mobilehome residents, and especially <br /> their Residents' Agreement Committee, has now negotiated new agreement terms and <br /> conditions for the Hacienda Mobilehome Park. <br /> RECOMMENDATION <br /> Authorize the City Manager to sign on behalf of the City of Pleasanton the Agreement <br /> Providing for Stabilization of Mobilehome Space Rents with the owner of the Hacienda <br /> Mobilehome Park in a final form as approved by the City Attorney. <br /> FINANCIAL STATEMENT <br /> None. <br />
